New mayhem-filled Rise of the Planet of the Apes trailer



So the new film needs to show two very important things that will determine it's success as a true "Planet of the Apes" successor:

1. Full-on monkey mayhem (preferably with weapons)
2. Apes standing erect as humanoids

DONE and DONE my friends.

I can't believe this comes out in under TWO WEEKS.

    I wholeheartedly agree with (1). Two seems and oddly specific concern since all the films hae had apes standing erect (the "running" apes in Tim Burton's film aside).

    My second point was in reference to a growing unease on the interwebs after the first trailer debuted that it didn't look as though they'd be portrayed as humanoids. Personally, I don't mind since I'd be okay with them evolving in the next film, but since we see Caesar standing full upright I'd say those who worried can set aside their qualms.
